(Sevilla, España, h. 1609 - Ávila, España, 1684). Eclesiástico y administrador colonial español. Ordenado agustino, fue arzobispo y virrey de Nueva España (1673-1680). Profesor de teología en los conventos de Burgos, Alcalá y Valladolid, en 1657 fue nombrado obispo de Guatemala, y en 1668 arzobispo de México.
